We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Borehamwood and Elstree Times for its continuing support of the community toilets scheme that we proposed last year (Toilet scheme could soon be rolled out, March 21).
Our proposal was, we thought, supported by the entire borough council, but 15 months later we still have no facilities in Shenley Road.

I read with interest the article and interview with the new Manager of Elstree Film Studios in last week's Borehamwood Times.
It was surprising that Mr Pelzer felt he should comment on his belief that the studios shouldn't be a 'political' issue. If correct the Studios would join a long list of other issues, like bin collections, parking and Councillors giving themselves plum jobs that we ca .... more here

There has been a lot of discussion lately about Conservative Town Council Leader Morris Bright stepping down from hosting an event being run by the Town Council.
Morris Bright, he of the four most influential posts in our local government that relate to our Studios, has tried to portray this issue as only Labour Councillors having concerns. This isn't true; the Conservatives are the only political party .... more here
Not Quite Oyster
I know in the scheme of things this may seem small beer to the constant stream of mis-information currently being perpetrated by senior members of the council but your article on electronic systems being installed in buses by 2010 is quite laughable.
This issue is at least 7 years old, in fact when I was re-elected to the borough council in 2001 an officer from county held a seminar on this subject. At that .... more here
